Journey from Zanskar Receives Rave Reviews

Journey from Zanskar, a film by celebrated Hoop Dreams filmmaker Frederick Marx had its theatrical debut in New York in late September.  The debut was supported by Worldways, and will be followed by another theatrical release in Los Angeles.  A powerful story of Tibetan cultural survival, the film is narrated by Richard Gere, and features His Holiness the Dali Lama and the courageous monks and families of Zanskar.
